First of all I'd like to say thank you for visiting the site. It's not a full time job but it's a fun one at that. Secondly I'd like to answer one of the most frequently asked questions from visitors and models I've had which is 'where are you based?' We're based in Hertfordshire which is about 26 miles north of London. Easy to get to by train from London Kings Cross.

The idea for LadsUK started back in the summer of 1997 by accident. We had no plans on making a porn site, it just kind of happened. We were in the gay chat rooms of irc, people were sending us photographs of themselves naked and we did the same back and forth. We got offered to do some nude modelling a few times, though only once did we say yes to a photographer. While on irc we got chatting to a lad called Todd who wanted to have some photos taken and also some nude ones. We arranged for him to come over and one thing led to another and got us thinking. We then realised we could do something on a website as there weren't really many gay porn sites in the UK back in 1997 so we set up LadsUK. Todd did some photos and a solo video and then one by one we had more guys offering to do it. The site grew slowly through the years with more galleries, models and videos. A lot of the early galleries were shot using 35mm film and are no longer on the site since we moved on to digital images. Those early picture gallery scans were just too grainy compared to the smoothness of digital...

By April 2005 I didn't have as much time to do the site because of other work commitments and so for two years the site lay dormant. Now in 2008 I have decided to start it up again with new models, monthly updates and slightly better quality video clips. I'm also now using a better video camera which is HD and you can really notice the difference so all future videos will be much better!
